The Collabforge team are excited to announce the results are in and our recent project with Business Tasmania (BT) came in as the winner of the ICT/Telecommunications technology category at the Tasmanian Project Management Achievement Awards recently. These awards acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in project management across Australia and we go through to the national finals that are being held later in the year.

The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) are recognised by Australian business, industry and government as the key promoter, developer and leader in project management professionalism. They established the Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA) program to recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievements in program and project management.

Kelly Brown, the Business Tasmania coordinator, recently mentioned that the BT project was commended for setting the benchmark for a new whole-of-government service delivery model in Tasmania by providing an e-business platform designed to provide accessible and up-to-date business services all in one place. BT was also recognised for providing a new customer-focused service model; a client relationship management system; a Web 2.0 platform with clever search capabilities and social media channels and interactive smart forms for streamlining government-to-business transactions. Since the website launch in late 2012, the website has visitation growth each month and reached a staggering 11,804 visits in August.
