Collabforge is currently looking for a Melbourne creative interested in a long-term partnership to create content of all types.
Main responsibilities for the role are writing blog posts, managing social media streams in conjunction with the team, and delivering monthly e-newsletters. Other tasks may include event photography, graphic design, video editing and office administration.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Social media management, concentrating on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Copywriting for web
- Blogging and maintaining a site via WordPress
- EDM creation and delivery, using MailChimp
DESIRED SKILLS
- Photography skills, with own photography equipment and software
- Graphic design skills, with own design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop or similar)
- HTML and CSS skills
- Video editing skills
We are keen to create a strong and long-term relationship with a freelance content creator. Our perfect freelance partner would be excited by the potential of collaboration and innovation at a large scale, as a means to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges and high-impact opportunities for positive change. Collabforge projects bring together business, government, researchers, and the broader community to make better futures possible.
Hours will vary, but likely to be around eight hours per week, plus extra according to client jobs and events. Collabforge will also offer one of our team membership spots at Hub Melbourne so that the chosen contractor can coordinate with the team at our Melbourne CBD offices as required.
